Around 200 people made it down to the boathouse on a cold, crisp and windy evening for the station's annual carol service. Visitors were welcomed by both lifeboats illuminated on the sand outside the shed. The service was led Wells Lifeboat Station's Chaplain, Rev Neil Woodruff and featured a traditional mix of Christmas readings given by the station's President, the Earl of Leicester, and crew members, with the singing ably supported by Fakenham Town Band and the Wells Churches Together choir.

Mince pies, sausage rolls, cake, sweets and hot drinks were enjoyed after the service and a collection raised £450.84 for the RNLI.
