First piles driven into beach

The crane and piling rig have arrived and been setup on site, followed by tubular pile deliveries. ALB ramp piling started on 9 October to the north of the gabions, with three piles installed and a few more hours left on the tide to install some more.

The ramp piling will continue next week working around the tides, with continued deliveries up to half term.
