Progress with frame

Wednesday 23 Jun 2021

Steady progress has been made erecting the frame of the new boathouse, with glulam beams in place for most of the eastern side of the building which will house the workshop and crew changing facilities on the ground floor with the crew room and office above them. While lifting the beams into place seems a relatively quick process, there is much to be done after to carefully align, level and bolt the structure into position and to add supporting brackets and elements.
