Frame completed

The exterior frame for the new boathouse has been completed, with rapid progress in the last week of June into the first weeks of July, with the small team from Reside lifting and bolting the beams into place and then connecting them where required with metal ties. With some internal beams still to be placed, work will move on to scaffolding the building so that construction of the roof can begin.

Elsewhere on the site, weeds in the top soil used to fill the terraces rapidly took over prior to proper planting and have been hand-cleared and the new lifeboat launching ramp continues to provide a new focal point and some much needed shade for beachgoers in the current hot weather!
