Wells RNLI transferred operations from its 127 year old lifeboat station on Wells beach to the new boathouse on the beach bank on Sunday 13/11/22.

The lifeboat station was flooded during the storm surge of 5 December 2013 which caused extensive damage, along with damage to properties in Wells and right along the east coast.
