The Wells Junior Sea Cadets are taking part in the RNLI’s Mayday Mile to show their support to the RNLI (although in their case, it is more like two miles!). They walked from Wells Quay down to the new lifeboat station and back again, dodging the rain as they went.

Three of Wells' volunteer lifeboat crew met the cadets at the site of the new lifeboat station to give them a talk on the equipment they use and to award them each with an RNLI yellow welly badge.

The Junior Cadets have exceeded their £300 target, and so far have raised a fabulous £456! We are very grateful for their fantastic effort!

If you would like to show your support, please visit the Wells Junior Sea Cadets Mayday Mile page - thank you.
